Bringing the outside in is not the newest concept, but it is definitely still a popular one. We will continue to see more natural elements being brought into the workplace with plants, wooden materials, stones, etc. It gives us a sense of energy and reminds us to reconnect with nature as we were originally created to do.

Kimball Brand plays with old + new textures here in their retro-inspired lounge setting. Although the room appears to have an older concept, the wooden wall decor and modern lighting make it feel new. The different use of materials from the rich blue velvet seats to the wooden walls and metal table legs, has this room bursting with texture! It's what makes this setting so visually appealing. We can expect to see an abundance of texture through out 2018 + 2019.

Patterns are in and they are nothing but vibrant! These bold, colorful patterns are bringing a mid-century modern feel to spaces. Most of these patterns are consistent with block shapes. However, there is no distinct repetition to them which gives it an energetic feel.
