Productivity Hacks for the Hybrid Work Life

 

Moving back and forth from the office to the home office can feel overwhelming and with the hybrid work model here to stay, we all will have to adapt to this new normal. We’ve come up with some productivity tips to help keep you on top of your new hybrid work life.

Communication is Key

Staying in constant communication is the #1 priority! There is a lot of opportunity for communication lapses while moving back and forth between the office and home. Utilize technology and collaboration tools to stay up to date with your team, your clients, and your organization.


Create Weekly Schedules

Staying organized can seem like an overwhelming task. None of us are perfect, and there are times where you will be more organized than others. Creating your schedule by the week rather than by the day can help you plan what you will need to accomplish. Set aside 30 mins each Monday morning (or Sunday evening if you have the time) and organize your projects/ tasks for each day of the week. Creating daily reminder alerts can also help keep you on track!

 
 

Storing Your Files

It’s important to organize your files based on whether you will need them at home or the office. Maybe you need them at both? Make sure to backup your files in case something happens or you lose them. Using a cloud based software to store your files can be a helpful tool to make sure they are safe and secure and so you can access them from wherever you are.


Take care of your mental/physical health!

This is an important one! Set aside 30-60 mins per afternoon to eat something and recharge. Whether that be a quick walk outside, or running a quick errand down the rode. Make sure to also get enough rest each night. This can make a huge difference in the way you perform each day.
