Designer/ Furniture Application Specialist - Commercial Interiors

Your Role

b + c’s San Diego office is seeking a team player to support our sales staff and operations manager on projects ranging in size from small opportunities to 500 station jobs. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, will be flexible, is willing to learn new design industry specific software, and be someone who cares about getting designs back to the sales team in a timely manner.

What You Will Do

• The position will be specifying systems furniture and case goods.

• Create renderings of designs from AutoCad in industry specific software.

• You will be producing Bill Of Materials and quoting products based on layouts you design.

• Produce client packets of furniture in layouts for presentation.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD

• The ability to learn specific furniture lines as needed.

• Need to have the ability to understand space; know ADA compliance laws; a designer type eye to come up with suggestions for how to layout the furniture.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and get the work down with minimal supervision.
